Harry G. Davis, Jr., founded Valley Solvent Company, Inc. in 1952, in Harlingen, Texas, with one truck, one tank, and one ideal, service with integrity and value. Originally, Harry served the Rio Grande Valley of Texas with a single cleaning solvent. Shortly thereafter he expanded the Company's product line to serve the predominantly agricultural market of south Texas. As industry developed along the border during the late 1960's, Valley Solvent Company exited the agriculture chemical business and focused its efforts selling a wide array of industrial solvents and chemicals.

Today, Valley Solvents & Chemicals operates three facilties serving all of Texas and Northern Mexico. Valley carries a full line of industrial solvents and chemicals and provides essential services to its customers.

Mr. Davis passed away in 1972, but he would be proud of our progress. Mostly, he would be proud of the many dedicated employees who have carried on his mission of building Valley Solvents & Chemicals into one of the most respected and service oriented wholesale chemical distributors in Texas.
